A sad day for Scotland

The great Scottish poet Ivor Cutler is dead. I read this in Click Opera, the blog of Momus. And since he actually did meet him, I’m quite satisfied to leave the obituary to him. I only saw Ivor Cutler live in London one time in the eighties, but I will never forget his “Jungle Tips”. They might come in handy one day. Ivor Cutler can be seen on YouTube performing the song Shoplifters.

I will also quote the concise poem, “Breasts”

“If youre breasts are to big you’ll fall over, unless you wear a rucksack”

Now it’s time to play his great song “Come and sit upon the grass”.
