Tomorrow is midsummer night. We do celebrate that in Sweden, as opposed to our national day, sorry, don’t even remember when it is. On midsummer nights eve we raise a giant penis and put it into the earth. This, some say, is a symbol of fertility. In my opinion it’s just what you do at the time. You make love. All night long. And you are dead drunk while doing it.

This is beginning to sound more and more like an ordinary docu-soap,
well no sex but still. MP AA hired a private detective to spy on one of
the people behind Thepiratebay.se through a Swedish lawyer. After
looking into the lawyer thepiratebay found that she didn’t pay her
parking bills. And she makes 100 dollars/year. Well, well, stealing
from the people of Sweden is okay but not to share files. Stealing -
yes, sharing - no. This sounds like socialism is dead, even in Sweden,
as if we didn’t know that already.

Thomas Bodström says he is innocent, he does not
take orders from the US. Hmm, how about the two Egyptians that the US
flew to Egypt to be tortured? Bodström wasn’t minister at the time, but
still. And Göran Persson, who hand picked Bodström is still the head of
state. The right wing says yippee, it is election soon. Even the
parties that votes together with the Social Democrats reports what has
happened to the constitution committee.

I lost all confidence for this government after the EU summit in
June 2001. The fuckers gave a rose to every cop that was working that
weekend. Even the one who shot a young man who nearly died. They locked
in 400 people in a school because of orders from the SS (Secret
Service). And so on and on…

Still, it could be worse. The right wing parties could win the election. That will be the end of me.

In Göteborg harbor there is a cultural building, sort of a exhibition area for alternative arts called Röda Sten. They let lots of young people use their wall for graffiti. The wall looked great as the building itself is but ugly. I was very surprised the other day when the official art censors (graffiti removers) sprayed their foul stinking mess at the wall.

Why did they do this? Because of Volvo Oceans Race, a competition for Fucking Rich Wankers with nothing better to do than sail around in boats. And their finish line is just outside of Röda Sten. A PR firm for Göteborg, Göteborg & Company even tried to get Röda Sten to put up a fucking Swedish flag on the wall. Like every artist in Göteborg is a nationalistic fascist whore. Fuck you Göteborg & Company!

Göran Vögel-Rödin, former chief of the arts hall in Trollhättan immediately left the board. Good on you, Göran. It’s nice to see there at least is someone with balls left in the institutional art world.

Fuck, they even took away the pictures from their site. Censorship is alive and well in our dear Bodstöm society. Long live Göran Persson and Göran Johansson. Hope they choke on their bribes from Volvo (Ford these days, which is even worse).
